INTERCOLLEGIATE TEAM SKATING

Intercollegiate skating is a program run by United States Figure Skating to allow collegiate age skaters to compete as part of a team. Each person competes individually and gains points for their team based on how they place (5 for first, 4 for second, etc.). The teams with the most points at the end of each of the three Sectional competitions win the competition and get points toward the National Competition. The teams with the most points at the end of all three Sectional Competitions are invited to compete at the National Competition.
